At the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter, we have a dream and a vision: to create a better future for the animals in our community. With your support, we’re embarking on an exciting journey to build a new facility that will transform the way we care for animals and serve our community.

- Proper building and kennel materials for sanitation, housing and programs
The new shelter will provide ample space to meet the needs of animals, staff, and the community. It will include dedicated areas for adoptions, a clinic, quarantine, holding, visitation, appropriate care facilities, and much-needed storage. The design will support educational initiatives, training programs, and expanded volunteer opportunities for community members of all ages. It will serve as a safe and welcoming space where the community can come together, united by their love for animals.

Our Goal: $7 Million
This ambitious campaign will provide the resources needed to construct a state-of-the-art shelter designed to save more lives, promote humane treatment, and deliver proactive programs that educate and support the public. Achieving this dream requires the help of our community—you!
We’re in the main building phase of this campaign, aiming to raise $7 million to make this long-time dream a reality. As leaders in animal welfare, we understand the needs of shelter animals and recognize that our current facility is not equipped to carry our mission into the future.
This new facility will feature modern dog and cat housing to reduce stress, minimize disease transmission, and provide essential services for our growing community. With your support, we can continue to lead by example in saving lives, promoting the humane treatment of animals, and fostering a stronger human-animal bond.
